    THE NEW, THE OLD AND GETTING THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: MONOLITH WITH ORACLE APEX TECHNOLOGY

    2015 saw us take the next deliberate step on our long journey when we decided that the Monolith system will receive a new user interface capable of supporting different business development directions. In selecting the technology we were mindful of the following criteria:

    • opportunity to create graphic options to serve front end functions
    • ability to adapt reliably and efficiently to the Monolith Platform
    • cost-effective maintenance with stable manufacturer support solutions
    • one browser to suffice in using the system

    We believe that in the financial sector you should not leave anything to chance. An industry where our IT systems manage billions in financial- and data assets can neither afford nor allow technological flights of fancy. Since Oracle tools, with their unquestionable reliability, support our objectives without compromise, the Oracle Application Express development tool was an obvious choice for us.

    In Q3-Q4 2016 we are looking to go live with the first Monolith Back Office small business implementation.

    New Monolith Platform developments are already being prepared with Oracle Apex technology.
